One of the Best Parts of the Job

This morning we did our monthly reading buddies visit. Photographer Brad Hood and I volunteer as reading buddes for the Marshall County Retired Senior Volunteer Program. Once a month we go to a different school in Marshall County and read to some kids.

Today we went to Asbury school. It's always fun to go and see the kids. They usually have a lot of questions. Usually more for Brad than for me. He's the camera man afterall. It's also a good way to get people to tune in. The kids go home and tell their parents to watch 19. So the station wins, the kids win and Brad and I win.
