Gas was a major issue. There was almost none to be found in Jackson. The other Aderholt group had a few cans of gas. So Jason Harper, who I rode over with, put those in. We ended up parking the truck at a station we were pretty sure had gas. We left it there, then Mr. Thigpen took us back to the station at 5:30 in the morning. It opened at 6 and we were able to get gas.
