Stories That Don't Live Up to the Hype
Being in the TV Biz, one of my pet peeves is when a story is advertised as one thing, but is completely different.
Last night, another station did a story they said was about a cluster of sex offenders living in Albertville. That's what the story was adverstised as. They go to the story, and the subject of a sex offenders cluster was never mentioned, not even once. The story was actually about a young man who had been molested as a child. That's fine, but why not just say that's what the story is about?
That kind of thing just really annoys me.
