Strange Police Car

Something that those of you who drive in Huntsville might find interesting. Friday as I was driving into work, there was a police car pulled to the side of the road. It appeared to be doing speed checks. As I went by I noticed it didn't look like other Huntsville Police Cars. It had the word "police" written in large blue letters on the side. I passed and he pulled out and turned his lights on. I thought he was coming after me, but pulled another car over.

Tonight, near Madison Square Mall, I saw that car again. This time I got a close look. Under the word police, it says Thomasville, Alabama. Why is a car from Thomasville, Alabama doing speed checks in Huntsville?
